Pakistan to restrict contracted players from participation in UAE T20 league

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has chosen to not enable its contracted players to take part in any T20 group held in the United Arab Emirates other than the Pakistan Super League (PSL) after a PSL overseeing chamber meeting was held at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore.

The PSL overseeing chamber, which involves PCB director Najam Sethi, delegates of the PCB, and agents of every one of the six PSL establishments, "communicated its worries over a recently declared T20 alliance occurring in the UAE" in an official discharge.

Sethi, as indicated by media reports, has been consulting with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) to make a 35-day window before the following version of the PSL to give PCB enough space to make important calculated and promoting game plans.

The ECB is set to have the second version of the T-10 group, alongside its own T20 competition, and Afghanistan Premier League in the following season which will keep running close by Pakistan's home arrangement against New Zealand and Australia in the UAE. The PCB wishes no other cricket to be played amid their home arrangement in the Emirates as it harms their business advantages, and is mulling over moving their home arrangement to Malaysia if its requests are not met.

Subsequent to facilitating three PSL coordinates in Pakistan this year, the overseeing board has "chose that no less than eight matches will be held in Pakistan one year from now". Besides, an expansion in the pay top of PSL squads was affirmed amid the gathering. Out of the six establishments, five have cleared their duty with the PCB and the rest of the establishment, which happens to be Peshawar Zalmi, made a "strong responsibility" to do likewise.
